Cards will present a good option for most people. If individuals live on the other side of the country and are able to attend the ceremony, they can send a card instead. Most people opt to write a little message inside the card. As long as the message is sincere, things should be perfectly fine.

If people cannot make it to the ceremony, they may want to send a letter from afar. Men and women who are going to do this should plan on sending it a few days early so that it will reach its destination in plenty of time. A few stamps can be added to the letter if it is a little heavier than usual.

All letters should be signed with a strong ballpoint pen that has blue or black ink. Pens with low-quality ink should not be used at all. Colored inks generally look amateurish and should also not be used. Once people have signed their names, they can send off the letter without any worries.
